  • Lessons run for 90 minutes in small groups.
  • Each session opens with retrieval practice on prior material.
  • New content is taught through worked examples, then guided practice.
  • Students are brought to the board to talk through their reasoning, so that understanding is tested and corrected in the moment.
  • Our homework club is free, and open to every family in the community.
  • It runs on weekday afternoons, with tutors on hand to help with school work.
  • No enrolment and no commitment — students come when they need to.
  • Every student begins with a baseline assessment in their subject.
  • Progress is checked each half term against clear subject criteria.
  • Tutors give written feedback that names the next step, not just the mark.
  • Parents receive a short termly report on progress and attendance.
